Probably in Nigeria it might happen more often, but still it should be safe enough for travelling. My friend is also Nigerian and he took his wife there, and they had a lovely holiday together for more than 3 weeks. Of course it is better to have a friend there you will show you around and it is safer. But it doesn’t mean that country is not worth visiting.
